RestoreX® FAQs

What is RestoreX® used for?

RestoreX can be used to treat curvature and lost length and erectile function resulting from Peyronie’s disease. It can also be used to help maintain and restore penile length and erectile function after prostatectomy.

What is Peyronie’s disease?

Peyronie’s disease is a health condition that is characterized by the development of plaque or scar tissue in the penis. This can lead to a curved or bent penis, difficulty getting and maintaining an erection, and pain during sex. The cause of Peyronie’s disease is unknown, but it is thought to be due to some combination of genetics, injury, and autoimmune response. There is no cure for Peyronie’s disease, but there are treatments that can help lessen the symptoms.

The RestoreX penile traction therapy device has shown encouraging results in treating symptoms related to Peyronie’s Disease.

How can the RestoreX® penile traction device help with Erectile Dysfunction after a Prostatectomy?

A prostatectomy is a surgical procedure to remove the prostate gland. It is a major operation and can cause a range of side effects, including erectile dysfunction and impotence.

There is no definitive answer to this question as the efficacy of a penile traction device for treating erectile dysfunction (ED) may vary from individual to individual. However, in general, it is thought that penile traction devices such as RestoreX® may help improve ED by increasing blood flow and sensation to the penis, as well as by helping to stretch and elongate the penis. This may help to improve erections in men with ED, as well as potentially improve overall sexual function and satisfaction.

Results for maintaining penile length and erectile function post prostatectomy²

  • Results in just 2, 30-minute treatments per day for 5 months
  • Start treatment sessions 1 month after surgery
  • On average while using, RestoreX men gained length of 2cm
  • Erectile function only declined 4 points while men that did not use RestoreX (control group) lost 8 points, on average, due to their surgery
  • 83% of men indicated the treatment was meaningful and worthwhile
  • No long-term complications were associated with RestoreX treatment

Does penile traction reduce girth?

There is currently no scientific evidence to support the claim that penile traction reduces girth. However, given that penile traction has been shown to be an effective treatment for increasing penis length, it’s possible that penile traction could have some effect on girth. In general, though, girth is a more difficult measurement to change than length, so it’s likely that any effect would be modest at best.

Does RestoreX require a prescription?

No, a prescription is not needed to purchase the RestoreX penile traction therapy device. You can purchase RestoreX directly from us on this page. Some private health insurance companies and DVA will cover part or all the cost of the RestoreX Device, please check with your private health insurer.

How do I use RestoreX?
